As a Single Plane Academy Student, we encourage you to send in videos often for your coaches to review. For every review, we require that you send two videos…a Down-The-Line (DTL) and Face-On (FO) video so that we can give you the most accurate feedback.
Here is the process for sending in a video for review:
1.) Open the CoachNow App on your Phone or Tablet and click into your space.
2.) Press the orange button with the shutter circle on it.
3.) For best results, we suggest taking the video in the CoachNow app, so click on “Take Video.” If you already have the video on your phone, you can click “Library” and “Camera Roll” to select a video on your phone.
4.) Take a video either Down The Line (DTL) or Face-On (FO). We recommend taking the video at 240 FPS using the back camera for the best quality if you are using a newer iPhone or iPad. If want to switch and use the selfie camera, click 30 FPS and swap the camera.
5.) This step is different depending on your device.
For an iPhone or iPad, trim the video by dragging the two ends together, so you send just the swing. Please ensure we see your complete body and all your club throughout the swing in the video. If the video is good, click “USE” If you didn’t get your entire body and swing in the video, click “RETAKE” to try again
For an Android device, if the video is good,g click “OK.” If you didn’t get your entire body and swing in the video, click “RETRY” to try again. Then trim the video by dragging the two arrows together to shorten the clip to just your swing.
6.) In this next step, please type what you are working on and would like the coach to review in the description box. It is also helpful to type in the date you took the video and if it’s DTL or FO.
7.) THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP: We need you to add the tag “SubmitForReview.” and click done if you want a coach to review your videos.
If you are taking a video that you want to save for your use only so you can draw lines and do not want a review completed, please add the tag “Personal” or don’t click to “POST” and just press the X to cancel.
8.) Click “POST” to upload your video. Again, check that you have added the tag “SubmitForReview” so that our coaches know to review your video.
9.) Repeat this process to send a video of the second view.
Their coaches are fabulous, their schools are well worth attending and the overall golf training experience you will receive is far better than any other. The training I attended is by far better than many others I’ve tried over 40 plus years.
I have been a member for a few years. I broke 80 for the first time after the first year. I’ve gone from a 30+ handicap to around 7/8. You truly cannot blame failure on this program, as every tool is right at your fingertips! Jumping around YouTube is NOT the answer, unless you enjoy confusion and despair. Ask me how I know.
