There is ONE thing you can do RIGHT NOW to

stripe it down the fairway, hit more greens, and shoot lower scores

...and it only takes a few minutes.

Why Matching the Moe Model
is so important.

Nothing is more helpful to fixing your swing problems than knowing the solution. When I found the solution twenty-eight years ago, it produced years of great golf, low scores, and more fun on the course. So, what was the solution?

Moe Norman.

You might ask how Moe Norman, a mysterious and reclusive professional golfer from Canada, who lived out of his car and hardly spoke to anyone, could have saved my game? Let me explain.

Before I met Moe, I needed some serious help. Years and thousands of dollars spent on typical Conventional golf swing instruction had failed me. Learning from some of the best golf teachers in the world I tried everything. I was exhausted and confused. The various conventional methods of lessons were unstructured and random. One day I would play well, and the next day I would completely lose my swing. Every time I took a lesson, it felt like I was starting over. I was frustrated. With so many confusing tips and tricks, my golf game was inconsistent, and I was about to quit.

Luckily, a friend showed me a video of Moe’s swing. I immediately noticed his address position and how simple it was. It was radical, but it was impossible not to notice that he was starting, swinging, and contacting the ball on a Single Plane. It looked so easy and repeatable. Most of all…

It made so much sense!

At that moment, I started matching my positions and movements to Moe’s. Amazingly, in just a few practice sessions, I was swinging on a Single Plane. The ball started flying long and straight.

Once I committed to copying Moe, All of my swing questions were answered.

That was the moment I Stopped Practicing and Started Perfecting.

Before I met Moe and started learning The Single Plane Swing, I would go to the course, hit a few bad shots, and start making random guesses at what I was doing wrong.

Soon, after a few wrong guesses, I would find myself experimenting. The experiments would lead to confusion and frustration. I often got worse when I practiced and wasted my time.

Whenever I had a bad day, I would find myself spinning my wheels and getting nowhere with my swing. I was just getting worse.

All of the confusion, frustration, and guessing stopped when I started copying Moe.

Moe’s swing held all of the answers.

Think about it. The golf swing is difficult. It’s a puzzle with dozens of pieces. Moe had already solved the puzzle by discovering the easiest way to hit a golf ball. That is why he was considered the greatest ball-striker that ever lived. It only made sense to copy him.

Most importantly with Moe as a model, I had a clear goal and a perfect example. The differences between his swing and mine were crystal clear. My swing either matched him or it didn’t. The best part is that I became clear on my objective. Instead of practicing, I started perfecting.

Golf Lessons Don’t Work.
Coaching Works.

Golf is hard. Statistics show that most golfers who practice never get better. Less than 2 percent of golfers can break 80. That’s why the average score for the millions of golfers in the world is 97, yet they spend nearly 3 Billion Dollars annually on practice and lessons!

The reason golfers don’t improve is clear.

The conventional swing is too hard to learn and most golfers, who are trying to improve, have no idea what to practice. You end up bouncing from one instructor to another and never land on a solid golf swing.

Furthermore, when you do practice, you practice the wrong things because they don’t a model or a system and as a result, your practice is a complete waste of time.

I found the best way to improve quickly was that I had to divide the difference between results and process. I had to stop looking at results and focus on my swing – the reason for the results.

I stopped wasting my time during practice when I met Moe as long as I consistently compared myself to him. That’s why I purchased two old VCRs and tv’s

Remember the old VCRs that played VHS tapes? That was a long time ago however, to copy Moe, I needed to find a way to match myself to him. The only way to do this was to get a video camera and record my swing and, with the two VCRs put Moe’s video in one and my video into the other.

With the two videos, I could compare my swing to Moe’s, side-by-side.

With Moe’s swing as my model besides my swing, I could easily see what I needed to change. I could see every detail of Moe’s movement compared to mine. Seeing the differences gave me feedback and clarity allowing me to focus on the solution and make the exact and necessary adjustments.

You see, it isn’t golf lessons that are going to help you; the way you are going to improve rapidly is to get consistent coaching that matches One system and model.

Best of all, it speeds up the perfecting process.

Matching Moe on video was my shortcut to great ball-striking. I started to love practicing again because, by matching the Moe, I always had a reason and goal.

Nobody Likes to Practice without a reason. To rapidly improve, you have to stop guessing.

Practice is a dirty word. Some people love it while others don’t. The thought of it conjures up a feeling of difficulty and hard work. It makes a fun game into drudgery.

But practice doesn’t have to be a chore. The clarity of the model allows you to improve so rapidly that you find yourself wanting to practice more. That is exactly what Moe said would happen.

I was on the range in Toronto Canada next to Moe hitting balls. Moe said: “You look like him without a belly.” This was one of the greatest compliments he could ever give me. He confirmed that I was getting closer to perfecting his swing. Then he showed me something that I will never forget.

He pulled a floppy stack of papers out of his pocket held together with a rubber band. It was a stack of photos each one a different position of his swing sequenced and bound into a flip book. He quickly flipped through the pages as I watched his swing come to life.

Speaking quickly and in a high-pitched tone, he said “watch the motion, watch the motion. When you finally get it, you won’t believe your eyes. It’s the purity of technique.”

Moe was teaching me to model him. He was showing me how to practice. Now I had to learn how to feel it and repeat it while I practiced.
