A friend told me about the Single Plane Swing a few years ago. I was having trouble with my game, so I decided to give it a try. It was pretty frustrating learning something new. But the frustration was my own fault. Instead of committing and signing up for a school, I decided to try to learn by watching the videos. And I decided that I would not take advantage of having a video of my swing reviewed by one of the video coaches at Graves Golf until my swing got a little better. That was a mistake as well. But I attended a 3-Day School in Orlando last weekend, and I believe that will make a big difference in my game this year. The immediate feedback from the five coaches at the school made it so much easier to understand what I was doing and what I should have been doing. One thing I learned is the importance of effective practice. I spent a few days early this week working on that. I finally played a round on Friday. I would love to say that the school turned me into a scratch golfer overnight – it didn’t. But it did one important thing for me. The round I played on Friday was the most enjoyable round in a long time. I shot the best score I have in many months. One thing that was obvious was that I did not hit one slice, which has been my nemesis for several years. I give the coaches credit for this. I recommend that anyone trying to learn the Single Plane Swing attend a school to accelerate the learning process.

Thoroughly enjoyable, three days. Every instructor was genuinely interested in seeing each participant, get better and understand the mechanics of the single plane swing. Seeing the connection between the short game swing in motion and the full swing was very eye-opening for me. I also enjoyed the question and answer. At the beginning of each day to review the previous days topics. I certainly will attend another school. If you want to learn the single plane swing, this is the place to do it.

This was my wife’s and my second 3 day golf school. The first one changed last year’s golf season like never before. It was the first year that I had more great days golfing than bad. In fact one of friends saw the difference and him and his wife accompanied us to the March 3 day golf school. They also are excited about the process of the Single Plane Golf Swing! The most important part of the teaching is that you feel like you’re part of a family and you always have access to the instructor’s input though video analysis. I am very excited about the upcoming golf season and continued improvement!
