This (3) day Orlando premier school was outstanding and I really learned a lot about my own swing perceptions vs. reality…feel like I walked away with critical knowledge in all aspects of my swing needed to progress with my single plane development. As many times as I have heard Address and Grip are critical it was not until this school I fully grasped proper setup and grip required to properly execute the single plane swing!
Thanks to Graves Golf and your expert team of coaches!

Overall this was a good class, but I do have some constructive criticism to offer.
There were 5 Instructors for 15-20 students for this course, which is reasonable. But once we spread out on the driving range to incorporate the full swing it did not feel like enough one-on-one attention to students. I think it would have been a better experience if each instructor at the range focused on a small group of students instead of all of them trying to go around to the entire group. Part of that is consistent advice, and part of that is just having an Instructor there to observe and provide feedback. As we were told, practice makes permanent, not perfect…and none of us were practicing perfect. I believe this swing will improve my enjoyment of the game, but it is hard to learn, so personal instruction is required. I struggled more than expected with the full swing so I could have used more time with the Instructors in that part of the course and this slight change would help to ensure students had the observation and feedback. It was a great class overall and was run well, so this is my only complaint…but it definitely affected my experience. It didn’t end well for me because performing the full swing properly was much harder than expected and I was pretty discouraged by the time I left. It’s a lot to cram into a few days, but I think the experience could be improved by making that one change. It was also clear that some of the Instructors were more experienced with the Singe Plane swing than others, so maybe having one Instructor per 3-5 students and one Senior Instructor roaming from group to group would be a more effective suggestion.
Keep good notes and pay attention. You’ll learn a ton of stuff. Some things really simple and improve your game immediately. Great 3 days.
Tim & Todd,
Our 3 day premiere school just ended. In fact, I’m sitting here at Legacy waiting for my ride home. I just wanted to let you both know how much I enjoyed the class and the valuable training I received. I know my single plain abilities will progress much faster after attending this class.
But beyond that, I wanted to let you know just how much the entire class appreciated the coaches. I think I can speak for the entire class when I tell you that the four of them were nothing but professionals in every sense of the word. Trent, Derrick, Richard and Nick were as good as anyone could hope for in a setting such as this. It’s obvious they truly enjoy what they do and they displayed that all three days.
They made the learning process interesting, enjoyable and challenging, all at the same time. Each of them were patient with the students and it seemed as though each one of us received the personal attention that we needed. They never hesitated to answer questions we all had and they took each question seriously. We never felt as though they were looking down on us or they just weren’t interested.
Kudos to Graves Golf for the coaches, school and the staff they have. No wonder the Graves Academy has grown and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks again for everything!

Just a quick note to say thank you for creating the Excalibur. I’ve been training with it all winter and tracking number of putts made. While I only make about 33% of putts from three feet while using it, without it I make almost 90%. It’s not easy to putt with it, almost like putting on glass but it really forces you to focus on the mechanics. It has greatly improved my putting.
Great design!
BTW – On my way home from work today I listened to “You Can’t Make This Shit Up” with you and Todd. Really entertaining. You can consider this one of the many positive emails I’m sure you get. ?
Thank you,
Mike E
